Poipet is one of the target cities of ADB’s Livable Cities Investment Project (LCIP). The economic cost for the project is $86.10 million.
Poipet city to receive three major infrastructure projects from ADB development assistant to improve the wastewater management system, drainage system, and solid waste system. The project is expected to finish in 2025 and it will reduce the flooding in the city, enhancing tourist and commercial development, and attracting more investment opportunities into the city.
